The Administrative
Assistant will report directly to the Executive Director of Indigenous Initiatives and will play a key role in administrative and support tasks for both the Gathering Space and Indigenous Upgrading Program teams. In-person collaboration with various departments and the community is essential to enrich student support services and maintain an inclusive workplace. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage front desk operations and visitor engagement
- Handle incoming inquiries via phone and email
- Assist in the administration of student services and programs
- Organize schedules, meetings, and documentation
- Monitor and maintain physical space and community amenities Requirements:
- A two-year diploma in Indigenous Studies or related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ administrative experience
- Familiarity with Indigenous cultures and reconciliation processes
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
