- Oversee external IT, software, telecom and cybersecurity partners, including service levels, priorities and costs.
- Support information security, access controls, business continuity and technology risk management.
- Ensure employees have reliable, secure tools for office, field and remote work.
- Manage technology budgets, licensing, renewals, roadmaps and other priorities as the role develops.
What You Bring
- Progressive experience in IT,
business systems or technology leadership, ideally in distribution, wholesale, supply chain or a related environment.
- Experience working with an ERP platform. Epicor Prophet 21 or a comparable distribution ERP is an asset.
- Strong business judgment and the ability to connect technology decisions to customer service, revenue, margin, efficiency and risk.
- Experience working with outsourced technology providers and software vendors.
- Interest and experience with AI, and testing and applying AI across tools.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, reporting and analytics, information security and access controls.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A practical, curious and accountable approach, with the flexibility to adapt as priorities evolve.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in IT or business systems, including at least three years with accountability for an ERP platform in a distribution, wholesale or supply-chain environment.
- Post-secondary education in business, information systems, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Compensation & Advantages The expected total compensation range is $75,000 to $115,000 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and performance. The role is eligible for an annual performance bonus. ESBE offers group benefits, a retirement savings program and professional development support, subject to plan terms and eligibility.
ESBE may use artificial intelligence-enabled tools to support the screening, assessment or selection of applicants. Responsibilities may be adjusted to reflect the evolving needs of the business.
