Job Location:New Liskeard, Northern OntarioJob Type:Full-Time | PermanentSenior Mechanical Engineering TechnologistPosition OverviewEXP is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineering Technologist (CET) to support mechanical design, drafting, field services, and project coordination on infrastructure and industrial projects. This role is ideal for an experienced technologist who enjoys hands-on involvement, technical leadership, and working closely with engineers, clients, and contractors.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and review detailed mechanical drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and InventorDevelop technical specifications and perform basic engineering calculations (loads, tolerances, thermal, stress) within technologist scopeCoordinate with mechanical engineers, contractors, vendors, and fabrication teamsPrepare and maintain project documentation, including BOMs, schematics, test reports, and manualsSupport prototype development, testing, and design revisionsConduct field inspections, quality checks, and compliance reviews with applicable codes and standardsProvide on-site support for installations, commissioning, troubleshooting, and equipment assessmentsMentor junior technologists and technicians, providing technical guidance and leadershipManage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining transparent communication with clients and internal teamsApply expertise in mechanical systems,
