Join Clarington’s exciting tennis program as a part-time instructor, focusing on empowerment for girl-identified youth. Your leadership will help foster sports participation and life skills. The Municipality of Clarington is looking for a knowledgeable Instructor to support its Her Game, Our Goal program starting September 2026.

This role requires you to lead tennis sessions for girls aged 7-13, adapting programming to ensure a secure and enjoyable environment. Candidates must have prior coaching experience and a strong foundation in tennis to facilitate skill development. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead tennis sessions for girl-identified youth
- Create and execute comprehensive lesson plans
- Ensure safety and adaptability in all programming
- Evaluate program success and participant feedback
- Act as a role model promoting confidence and teamwork Requirements:
- 1-2 years of coaching in a tennis setting
- NCCP certification in Beginner Tennis is preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- First Aid and CPR certification as an asset
- Must be legally able to work in Canada Inspire young athletes as they develop their skills and confidence in sport through your role as an instructor.
