Support Nunavik’s critical infrastructure as an Emergency Generator Systems Maintenance Instructor with the Kativik Regional Government.
Your role centers on maintaining generator systems vital for water treatment plants across northern villages. As an instructor, you'll be responsible for ensuring reliable operations of mechanical systems, troubleshooting problems, and conducting emergency repairs. Reporting directly to the Assistant Director, you'll actively contribute to safety initiatives while collaborating on maintenance strategies for optimal equipment performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair emergency generators and ATS
- Conduct troubleshooting and repairs for all mechanical systems
- Provide emergency field service and preventive maintenance
- Collaborate in developing maintenance programs
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards Requirements:
- Professional qualifications in heavy equipment mechanics
- Five or more years of relevant experience
- Experience with power generators is a plus
- Robust computer skills in Word and Excel
- Bilingual in Inuktitut, English, or French Bring your technical skills to safeguard critical generator operations in the vibrant region of Nunavik.
