About The Role

Kensington Insurance is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Insurance Advisor with a minimum Level 1 General Insurance License to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent role for someone who enjoys helping clients navigate their insurance needs and takes pride in delivering excellent service. If you communicate well, work effectively as part of a team, and are versatile with scheduling, including weekends, we'd like to hear from you.

Work Schedule

- Full-time, 5 days per week
- Weekend availability required (Saturdays and/or Sundays)
- Willingness to work a variety of scheduled shifts

Key Responsibilities
- Process ICBC transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide personal lines quotes, endorsements, renewals, and remarkets
- Manage and maintain the office's personal lines book of business
- Assist walk-in clients with ICBC transactions and inquiries
- Answer incoming calls and respond to client questions
- Help clients identify and meet their insurance needs
- Sell travel insurance products
- Issue marriage licences
- Support producers with client service and administrative tasks
- Build positive, long-term client relationships

Qualifications

- Minimum Level 1 General Insurance License (required)
- 2+ years of insurance industry experience preferred
- Experience with ICBC transactions and personal lines insurance
- Mandarin language skills are a strong asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Skilled, detail-oriented, and customer-focused
