As Kasi Law continues to grow, we are adding another Law Clerk to our team. If you are an experienced Law Clerk who is comfortable working within litigation files – not simply supporting them from the sidelines – we would like to hear from you.

About Kasi Law

Kasi Law is a boutique litigation firm in London, Ontario, representing insurers, businesses and individuals in insurance defence, plaintiff personal injury, accident benefits and civil litigation. We are a small, collaborative team offering a fast-paced, professional and collegial environment where employees are supported, encouraged to take ownership of their work and provided opportunities to grow with the Firm.

The Role

This is a Litigation Law Clerk position supporting both insurance defence and plaintiff personal injury files, with some legal assisting duties as required. We are specifically looking for someone with practical litigation experience who is comfortable progressing files, managing document-heavy work and supporting lawyers through the various stages of litigation.

What We Need/What You Offer

We are looking for someone who can become productive within a reasonable orientation period. This is not intended as an entry-level position requiring extensive foundational litigation training. We are looking for someone with:

- a post-secondary Law Clerk, Legal Assistant or related diploma, education or professional experience;
- at least two recent, continuous years of practical experience working as a Litigation Law Clerk;
- hands-on civil litigation experience with insurance defence and/or plaintiff personal injury experience as a strong asset;
- a transparent understanding of civil litigation procedures and the Rules of Civil Procedure
- experience with productions,



medical records, Affidavits of Documents, chronologies, undertakings or discovery preparation;
- solid file-management, organizational and proofreading skills;
- sound judgment, a proactive and self-directed approach, and the confidence to work independently while recognizing when guidance or lawyer direction is appropriate;
- the ability to manage competing priorities and follow work through to completion;
- professional written and verbal communication;
- comfort working both independently and collaboratively in a small-firm environment and
- experience with PrimaFact, PC Law, Microsoft 365, ACL or comparable legal systems is an asset.
