The Department of Natural Resources is responsible for the development, management, conservation and protection of forest, parks and wildlife resources and the administration of the province's Crown land. The Regional Services Branch delivers department programs and services through an extensive network of field offices. These programs and services include forest management programs, Crown lands surveys, regional geological services, public outreach and education, planning and implementing Integrated Resource Management (IRM), hunter safety, forest fire prevention, detection and suppression,



monitoring of forest insects and diseases, operation and maintenance of Provincial Parks, and resource conservation.

About Our Opportunity

The Department of Natural Resources is seeking a dynamic Area Manager to lead program delivery in Oxford. Through the effective leadership of staff and resources, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of Department Programs including the management of permanent, seasonal and casual staff and associated budgets.

Programs to be delivered include geology, forest protection, parks and outdoor recreation, land administration, private and crown land management, wildlife, and field reports for integrated resource management.
