Collicutt Energy Services is a solutions-driven engine company supporting customers across power generation, natural gas compression, industrial engines, and related energy sectors. As our organization continues to grow, strong financial leadership, scalable systems, and reliable financial information are critical to how we make decisions and move the business forward.We are currently seeking an experienced Controller to join our Finance team in Red Deer, Alberta. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this is a senior finance leadership role responsible for the integrity of our financial reporting, day-to-day accounting operations, internal controls, compliance, and development of the accounting team.We're looking for a CPA who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with practical business insight and leadership ability. intercompany transactions, and reconciliationsManage complex accounting matters including revenue recognition, consolidations, and inventory accountingLead the annual audit process and serve as the primary liaison with external auditorsDevelop and maintain effective internal controls, accounting policies, compliance practices, and financial risk management processesAnalyze revenue, margins, expenses, working capital, and financial performance to provide meaningful insight to leadershipPartner with operational leaders on budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and business performanceOptimize financial systems, ERP utilization, and accounting processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, scalability, and financial disciplineOversee finance-related SAP Business One governance, controls, financial master data, and process optimizationLead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while establishing clear expectations and accountabilityWhat You BringRequiredBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience,



including leadership responsibilityStrong technical accounting knowledge and audit experienceStrong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance requirementsExperience working with ERP systems and financial process improvement initiativesAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsDemonstrated experience leading, developing, and mentoring accounting professionalsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsAbility to communicate complex financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial leadersAssetsExperience working in a multi-entity or multi-jurisdictional organizationExperience with SAP Business OneExperience within manufacturing, industrial services, energy, or another operationally complex environmentWho We're Looking ForYou're a finance leader who can move comfortably between the details and the bigger picture.You maintain high standards for accuracy and controls, but you also understand that Finance needs to support the business—not slow it down.
