This full-time role is perfect for individuals with 2-3 years in youth programming and mentorship, geared towards fostering relationships within Black and equity-deserving communities. Your responsibilities will include implementing mentor recruitment strategies, organizing training, and ensuring high-quality mentor support, while addressing anti-Black systemic barriers through community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design mentorship training focusing on youth engagement
• Strengthen ties with corporate and community partners
• Oversee mentor-mentee matching and communication
• Conduct outreach and networking events
• Track attendance and analyze program outcomes
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in a related field
• Experience with community outreach and volunteer coordination
• Knowledge of systemic barriers facing Black youth
• Robust problem-solving and organizational skills
• Flexibility for evening and weekend hours
