In this role, you will engage with children, youth, and families, promoting their welfare through hands-on support and adherence to Ministry of Social Services case plans. As a crucial member of a multidisciplinary team, balance direct service delivery with effective documentation and collaboration with Child Protection Workers and community partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide supervised family time and in-home services • Advocate for families and ensure their needs are met • Facilitate secure and timely reunification efforts • Collaborate with Child Protection Workers and partners • Maintain accurate documentation of service delivery
Requirements: • Grade 12, with relevant post-secondary education an asset • Knowledge of child protection and foster care policies • Strong communication skills with families and staff • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment • Criminal Record Check and CPR/First Aid Certificate required
