Cementation is seeking a skilled Mine Designer to support project objectives at the BHP Jansen site in Saskatchewan. Bring your expertise in creating safe and innovative designs for mining infrastructure.
As a Designer/Draftsperson with Cementation, you will drive project success by developing detailed designs and providing concept drafts. With at least 5 years of drafting and design experience, you will collaborate closely with engineers and operations teams. Your creativity and technical proficiency will ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create concept drawings and preliminary sketches
• Collaborate with engineers for optimal designs
• Produce 3D models and drawings as required
• Ensure drawings meet safety guidelines and regulations
• Assist in maintaining drawing documentation
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in drafting and design
• High School Diploma; applicable post-secondary diploma
• Experience in heavy construction, mining, or fabrication
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
• Canadian citizenship or work authorization
