Become a vital part of the Grande Yellowhead School Division as a Mental Health Capacity Building Success Coach. This temporary role focuses on promoting mental health and wellness for children and youth in community settings.
In this 12-month position, you will deliver evidence-based programming aimed at enhancing the mental health awareness of children, families, and school staff. Collaborate with community stakeholders and participate actively in building relationships that foster emotional and developmental growth. Your expertise in social sciences and experience in mental health will be essential in guiding individuals toward healthier lives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement engaging mental health programming
• Facilitate group sessions in schools and local communities




• Educate staff and parents on mental health issues
• Assist individuals in accessing specialized services
• Maintain compliance with health information and AHS policies
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree/diploma in social sciences preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in health or human services
• Knowledge of addiction and mental health services
• Solid public speaking and programming skills
• Criminal record check required
