Role Overview The Junior Accountant role offers the opportunity to develop full-cycle accounting skills with broad exposure across the accounting function. As part of a energetic team, you will have opportunities for future growth while working closely with and providing support to estimators, project managers, and senior leadership. This is an in-person role based in our Etobicoke office.

Responsibilities

- Manage accounts receivable, collections, and customer payments.
- Process accounts payable,



prepare payment runs, and maintain vendor records.
- Process employee expenses and credit card statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
- Assist with other processes such as account reconciliations, payroll, and analysis as needed.
- Participate in process improvement and training initiatives.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting with at least two years of related experience.
- CPA designation or active pursuit is an asset.
- Experience working at a construction company and/or using Premier Construction Software is an asset.
- Detail oriented, thorough, and highly organized. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Continuous improvement mindset and comfortable learning new software.
