We work closely with industry to advance and adapt our programming to ensure our graduates have the skills to succeed.The Prospect - Student, Parking AttendantThe Student Parking Attendant is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the campus parking facilities. This role involves providing excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors, enforcing parking policies, and helping maintain a secure and orderly parking environment.Key Job FunctionsParking ManagementMonitor parking lots to ensure proper use and compliance with parking regulationsIdentify, report and/or ticket unauthorized or improperly parked vehiclesAssist with the management of special event parking as neededCustomer ServiceGreet and assist students, staff, and visitors with parking-related inquiriesProvide directions and information about parking locations and regulationsProvide technical assistance for staff, students and guests accessing the HotSpot parking applicationSafety and SecurityPromote a safe parking environment by observing and reporting any hazards or suspicious activitiesRespond to parking-related emergencies and provide support as needed.Administrative TasksMaintain accurate records of parking permits and violationsProvide weekly summary of parking violationsPerform light maintenance tasks such as signage updates and lot inspectionsEducation/Experience/Skills/Knowledge RequiredBuild and maintain positive relationships with students, guests and visitorsEffective problem solving and handling stressful situations calmly and effectivelyOutstanding customer serviceAbility to work independentlyAccuracy and attention to detailActs ethically, openly, honestly, and respectfully to build and maintain an environment of trust, safety, and well‐beingMakes decisions with the College's interests in mind, while demonstrating inclusivity, openness, transparency, civility, and respectWage & Hours & Work EnvironmentWage: $15.45 to $15.97/hourHours of work from Monday to Friday with approximately 10 hours of work per week, scheduled around academic obligationsAdditional hours may be required at specific times of the year or for occasional, supplementary operational supportPrimarily outdoor work, subject to varying weather conditionsFrequent standing, walking, and light physical activityMust respect and actively promote health and safety policies.The statements contained in this job description reflect general details as necessary to describe the key job functions of this position, the level of knowledge and skill typically required and the scope of responsibility.
