We are looking for friendly, knowledgeable, and professional individuals to join our team who will make meeting the health needs of our patients their top priority.Here's where you'll have an impact:Exceed customer expectations by building strong relationships with continuing care partners and delivering customer centric solutions; role model, coach, and reinforce customer service expectations on a daily basis for all staffEnsure contractual requirements, including service obligations, of continuing care facilities are executed based on the corporate agreementsAct in the patient's best interest to implement and support patient‐centred care through professional scope of practice and collaboration with patient's care teamInspire a positive, patient-focused culture and experience while developing and monitoring business plans to deliver on KPIsBe an ambassador to uphold and instill company values, including championing all diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, ensuring the pharmacy is an inclusive environmentManage the selection, onboarding, training and development, performance management, and succession planning processesEnsure all regulatory requirements and company policies, processes, and procedures (e.G OHS, Loss Prevention)
are implemented in the pharmacy; responsible to train staff and ensure adherenceCommunicate regularly with continuing care partners to maintain relationships and update our partners on relevant pharmacy process changes or pharmacy practice changesEnsure Consultant Pharmacists complete contractually required activities for continuing care partner facilities; provide support and training for Consultant Pharmacists to fulfill their rolesLearning and being familiar with the necessary process needed for accurate automationLearning and being familiar with additional pharmacy software (Custom Health, Point Click Care, Pacmed)Support onboarding current nursing home facilities to our pharmacy and eMAR go livesManage daily workflow in the dispensary (utilizing Kroll and Sharepoint)Complete medication reconciliations for all new admissions/readmissions to partner facilitiesSupport off site vaccination clinics and perform immunizations for LTC residentsand nursing home staffMaintain current knowledge of pharmacy practice, regulatory requirements, and industry trends/developments; attend training as requiredResponsible to oversee QRE management, communication with continuing care partners, regular staff meetings to review and implement action plansTravel to each continuing care partner facility annually with Consultant Pharmacists for meetings with administrators and nursing staffOversee automation optimization and maintenanceExecute pharmacy services to drive sales, control labor, monitor margins, and manage shrinkageWhat you bring to the table:Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institutionMust be a Licensed Pharmacist, in good standing,
in the province of responsibilityInjection and First Aid CertificationPrevious management experience in a pharmacy settingContinuing care consulting experience is an assetAdditional certifications are considered assets (i.E.
