We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Kinesiologist to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to evaluate their physical condition and movement capabilities.
- Develop personalized rehabilitation programs tailored to individual patient needs.
- Provide education and support to patients regarding their treatment plans and recovery processes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment interventions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure a cohesive approach to care.
- Uphold organizational standards for patient safety and quality care within the clinic environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or related field; relevant certifications preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate patient conditions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingualism is a plus.
- Proven customer service experience, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple patients and documentation efficiently.
- Experience in patient care within a clinical setting is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
You would be expects to:
- Design, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and/or work hardening programs
- Perform reassessment of client progress through functional testing
- Record functional and subjective findings in client charts on a regular basis
- Complete ICBC reports
- Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals
Qualifications:
- Registration with BC Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK)
- Current liability insurance
- Experience working in Rehab setting and as a personal trainer
- Excellent communication skills
