We are a landscape maintenance company servicing commercial properties across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). We are currently seeking an energetic and reliable individual to join our landscaping crew, responsible for both winter and summer services.
About the Role
As part of our team, you will help maintain commercial properties while ensuring all safety protocols and company standards are followed. In the winter, you will ensure safe and accessible environments during the winter months by clearing walkways of snow and ice.
Key Responsibilities - Summer Season Duties
Part of your responsibilities will include maintaining our clients’ commercial properties, including:
- Commercial lawn and garden maintenance
- Mowing
- Weeding
- Trimming
- Planting
- General property upkeep and maintenance
You will help ensure outdoor areas remain clean, safe, and well maintained at all times. Key Responsibilities - Winter Season Duties
- Clear walkways and pathways of snow and ice using hand and power tools.
- Operate equipment efficiently and perform basic maintenance.
- Drive to various commercial properties to complete tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of assignments.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Mechanical aptitude (asset):
While not required, candidates with mechanical aptitude are strongly preferred. We are not looking for a mechanic,
but someone who can properly maintain equipment, recognize when machinery is not functioning correctly, and handle basic repairs when needed.
Construction experience (asset):
Previous construction experience is not required, but would be considered an asset.
What We Offer
- Competitive Pay: $26.00 to $30.00 per hour.
- Standby Pay in the winter for on-call availability + Hours
- Health Insurance: Available after 3 months.
- Work-Life Balance: Monday-to-Friday schedule during the summer, with occasional weekend shifts.

What We’re Looking For
- Valid G Class Driver’s License.
- Experience driving a pickup truck and trailer.
- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changing schedules in the winter
- Physically fit to handle long shifts, including nights and weekends during snowfall.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- On-call availability throughout the winter season (until April 15th).
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Important NoteThis role requires serious commitment. If you are unable to answer calls during on-call hours or unwilling to work overnight shifts during the winter, this position may not be suitable for you. Job Types: Full-time, Part time, Permanent
