We are a vertically integrated manufacturer and our products are made at facilities located in Quebec, Ontario, and Saskatchewan.As a Regional Sales Manager Central Region, you will report directly to the National Sales Director, Connect.GETTING TO KNOW THE POSITIONOne of the strategic orientations that Nexans pursues consists in capturing growth and differentiating its offer by escalading the value chain from the production of cables towards the provision of innovative cable systems and services and solutions to better address the current and future needs of our partners and customers.The position will be responsible for execution of sales plans and strategies that ensure delivery of maximum annual sales and profitability for Central Canada accounts, while developing long‐term customer partnerships and new business opportunities.HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACTAssist in the development and execution of annual business plans for assigned accounts and deliver sales and volume targetsDefine and execute account strategies to strengthen customer partnerships and grow businessMaintain critical relationships with existing customers and develop new business opportunitiesCreate and manage account plans,
including financial objectives and pipeline developmentAnalyze business performance and provide recommendations to drive sales growth and improve marginsNegotiate pricing, manage quotations and prepare commercial proposals adapted to customer needsTrack opportunities won and lost and support responses to calls for tendersDevelop robust relationships with contractors, distributors and key decision makersMonitor customer needs, market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunitiesCollaborate with marketing, sales service, engineering and operations to support business executionSupport development of products and specifications aligned with customer requirementsBuild and maintain a strong pipeline and anticipate future projectsEnsure high level of customer satisfaction and position Nexans as preferred partnerYou will be expected to:Deliver annual sales and volume targets for Central CanadaImprove margins and profitable growthStrengthen customer relationships and increase share of walletDevelop contractor relationships supporting new product opportunitiesBuild strong opportunity pipeline and new business developmentIncrease Nexans competitiveness and market positioningWHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE ?Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Engineering5–8 years sales experience in manufacturing (cable industry an asset)Strong understanding of sales and marketing processesExperience managing key accounts and executing sales strategyProven negotiation and commercial proposal experienceStrong analytical and business performance evaluation skillsExcellent communication and relationship building skillsResults oriented, self‐starter and highly motivatedTechnical proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Requests for accommodation due to a disability (which may be visible or invisible, temporary or permanent) can be made at any stage of application and employment.
