Become a Loading Freight Associate at Walmart's Distribution Centre in Calgary. Your role will focus on the secure and efficient loading of merchandise for distribution to stores.
This position is responsible for scanning and loading both conveyable and non-conveyable freight onto outgoing trailers. Key Responsibilities: • Scan and load merchandise onto trailers efficiently • Manage loading processes to prevent stoppages • Follow established shipping procedures consistently • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the Shipping department • Assist colleagues with loading tasks as required
Requirements: • Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs • Steel-toed shoes or boots are mandatory on the first day • Minimum 18 years of age required • Familiarity with shipping software and devices • Additional safety gear will be provided
