Eyewear Haus is looking for a Licensed Optician to join our growing team, for our new location in Picton, Ontario opening October, 2026.

We’re seeking someone who is passionate about patient care, eyewear styling and the technical side of optics, and who takes pride in creating an exceptional experience from the moment a patient walks through our doors to the moment they leave in their perfect pair.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Optician at Eyewear Haus, you’ll be involved in both the patient experience and the technical side of eyewear. You’ll work closely with our Optometrist, optical team and finishing lab to ensure every patient receives accurate, beautifully fitted eyewear and exceptional service.

Responsibilities include

- Styling and assisting patients in selecting eyewear
- Taking accurate optical measurements and dispensing prescription eyewear
- Reviewing prescriptions and ensuring order accuracy
- Performing frame adjustments, fittings and repairs
- Inspecting and quality-checking completed eyewear
- Educating patients on lens options, coatings and eyewear care
- Assisting with eyewear pickups and final fittings
- Supporting contact lens and patient-care needs as required




- Working collaboratively with our finishing lab
- Assisting with inventory, frame organization and merchandising
- Maintaining accurate patient and order documentation
- Helping create the elevated, welcoming experience Eyewear Haus is known for

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Licensed Optician in Ontario
- Passionate about patient care and delivering an elevated experience
- Robust communication and eyewear styling skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organization
- Comfortable with both the technical and fashion sides of optics
- Team-oriented, dependable and motivated
- Someone who genuinely enjoys helping people look and see their best
