We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy, punctual, clean, organized, sanitary person who has good work ethics.

The job duties include but not limited to making breakfast items, soups, sandwiches, baked goods, dinner items, food preparation, helping in creating current menu items, helping in washing dishes, general kitchen cleaning and general kitchen prep.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

- Prepare foods such as breakfast items, soups, sandwiches, baked goods, dinner items
- Prepare, season, and cook food products to the highest standard following recipes and presentation specifications, meeting dietary requirements where required
- Complete prep lists to ensure enough product is available for service, prepare and portion all items promptly, efficiently, and with attention to detail
- Perform opening, restocking, and closing procedures
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Clean and maintain cleanliness and health & safety standards of your area
- Adhere to all sanitation and safe food handling procedures and uphold food safety practices
- Load and run dishwasher during downtime
- Contribute to a positive team environment,



work well individually and as part of the team
- Enrol in Omniscient Spa Café’s Wellness and Soft Skills modules and complete online learning tests as required

Qualifications and Experience
- Ability to multi-task and maintain a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work under limited supervision for extended periods of time
- Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
- Commitment to consistent attendance and punctuality
- An interest or knowledge in healthy food and nutritional alternatives is an asset
- Availability to work around peak hours, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- A polite, engaging personality
- Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence
- 2-year culinary experience preferred
- 2-year cooking experience preferred

License/ Certification
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (Preferred)

Physical Requirements
- Constant standing/walking for duration of shift
- Occasional pushing, pulling and light lifting

Employee Benefits & Perks Job Type: Part-time with Full time opportunity

Schedule: Monday to Friday, with some holidays and weekends

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
