Our pizza and sandwich shop is hiring a motivated team member to support daily kitchen operations. This role includes preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean workspace, and assisting with order assembly during peak hours.

Duties

- Prepare a variety of pizzas, sandwiches, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in the cooking process, ensuring all dishes are prepared efficiently and to high quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle meal preparation tasks, including slicing, assembling, and plating food items
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members

Experience





- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Experience working in a restaurant or similar hospitality setting is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is beneficial
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment will be considered an asset
- Prior experience in serving customers is a plus but not mandatory; a friendly attitude and willingness to learn are most significant

Pay: $17.60-$21.45 per hour
