Optiom, a subsidiary of Aviva Canada, seeks an individual contributor with 3-6 years in IT security, risk, or governance. In this role, you'll develop a Configuration Management Database (CMDB), draft business continuity plans, and consolidate vendor agreements. You will ensure key documentation is accurate and up-to-date to support operational resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain Optiom's CMDB for applications and infrastructure • Create a consolidated register for technology vendor agreements • Conduct business impact assessments for critical applications • Develop and exercise Disaster Recovery and Incident Response plans • Update security policies and control documentation regularly
Requirements: • 3–6 years in IT governance, risk, or compliance • Experience with building CMDBs and drafting recovery plans • Familiarity with frameworks like NIST, ISO, or ITIL • Robust documentation skills and persistence • Post-secondary education in IT or related fields
