About the Role

Shams Law Professional Corporation is urgently seeking a motivated Articling Student to join our Toronto office. This opportunity provides hands-on experience with active Personal Injury and Civil Litigation matters in a professional, fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities

- Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda
- Draft pleadings, correspondence, motions, and other legal documents
- Assist with Personal Injury and Civil Litigation files
- Review medical, accident, liability, and supporting documentation
- Support preparation for court appearances, mediations, and examinations
- Communicate professionally with clients and other parties
- Organize and maintain files,



deadlines, and case documentation
- Assist lawyers with case strategy and daily file management
- Attend court proceedings or hearings when required

Qualifications

- JD, LLB, or equivalent law degree
- Eligible to complete articling in Ontario
- Solid legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated interest in Personal Injury and Civil Litigation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Professional, dependable, and eager to learn
