The objective of this position is to streamline the execution of manufacturing activities across the company's production sites while ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products to support all corporate revenue-driven strategies for the Canadian market. This high-energy job requires resilience, adaptability and flexibility; the individual must have the ability to think strategically while implementing new methods to achieve cost savings and efficiencies while increasing productivity and speed to market. Customer / Supplier relationships as requiredScope of Role:Leading the optimization of the operations by developing, implementing and executing strategic initiatives focused on increasing operational efficiencies and driving cost savingsBe jointly accountable with the VP, Operations for the efficient integration of both the supply chain and production functions, ensuring well-coordinated management to meet a dynamic sales forecast to deliver objectives that are on time and on budget.Actively develop and manage teams to improve efficiencies in production, manufacturing, operations and facilities while also supporting other teams through process improvementParticipating with senior management in establishing long and short-range planning, policies, programs and objectives related to operations.Development and implementation of KPIs aimed at improving measurement and monitoring of key objectives.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, specified contract metrics, and maintain high standards of operational activities, introducing efficiencies where applicablePromote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to qualityKnowledge and Experience10+ years experience in operations or technical management role7+ years experience leading complex operations and/or technical teams effectivelyBachelor's degree in business or related discipline required, Master's degree is preferredExperience as a trusted and respected people leader who can develop and coach multiple teams to the best of their ability in a fast paced,
