This role offers a full-time, unionized contract opportunity for applicants with a Bachelor’s in Social Work and two years of experience in the child welfare sector. You'll conduct assessments, develop relationships, and advocate culturally appropriate services for children and their families throughout your work. Key Responsibilities:
• Engage in immediate response services for children in need
• Assess child safety and coordinate service deliveries
• Facilitate communications between families and service providers
• Document case details and prepare for court involvement
• Conduct consultations and meetings with community stakeholders
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
• Understanding of Indigenous cultures and history
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
