The Opportunity:

The Ministry of Education is seeking a cooperative, analytical and results-oriented leader for the position of Manager, Financial Analysis and Reporting. Reporting within the Education Funding Branch, this position plays a key leadership role in supporting public accountability, financial stewardship and financial reporting for Saskatchewan's PreK-12 education sector.

The Manager leads a team of four Financial Policy Analysts and works closely with school division Chief Financial Officers, financial managers, ministry officials and central government partners. The position is responsible for leading the review of school division annual budgets and audited financial statements to ensure accurate,



transparent and consistent reporting across the sector.

The successful candidate will be a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with extensive knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, financial management and public-sector accountability practices. Strong leadership, relationship management, communication and analytical skills are essential. Experience leading professional staff, managing complex projects and working with multiple stakeholders in a public-sector environment will be considered strong assets.
