THE CHANCE:
Abcor Filters is looking for a Quality Manager to lead quality for our direct Tier 1 OEM supply. In this role, you'll be the plant's go-to expert for OEM onboarding, launch readiness, and quality system compliance — making sure every finished good meets our customers' and our own standards. You'll work across engineering, operations, and logistics to build and continuously improve a quality system that supports management review and drives real, ongoing improvement.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
· Serve as the primary quality expert for new OEM (Tier 1) customer onboarding
· Lead APQP gate reviews and manage PPAP submissions through OEM-specific portals
· Implement and maintain customer-specific requirements (CSRs) and the Supplier Quality Manual at the plant level
· Manage OEM supplier portals (Stellantis e-Connect, NCT, GM Covisint, Ford WERS), meeting all submission and KPI deadlines
· Apply AIAG-VDA PFMEA methodology and conduct VDA 6.3 process audits
· Lead DFMEA reviews with engineering, ensuring safety and regulatory characteristics are properly controlled
· Own corrective action plans and lead Annual Quality Review (AQR) preparation
· Manage OEM warranty claims end-to-end and participate in field return programs (3CPR, IPTV analysis)
· Monitor in-process KPIs and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), leading containment and complaint resolution
· Flow down customer requirements to sub-tier suppliers and manage their PPAP and quality sign-offs
· Represent the plant during OEM customer visits, audits, and launch readiness reviews
Train and support cross-functional teams and head office on OEM expectations and obligations
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
Minimum Qualifications:
· Engineering Degree/Diploma, CQE, or equivalent experience
· 7+ years in automotive quality, including direct Tier 1 OEM supplier experience
· Hands-on experience with Stellantis systems (e-Connect, NCT, NSA, AQR, 3CPR)
· Proficiency in APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, DFMEA (AIAG-VDA), Control Plans, and VDA 6.3
· Working knowledge of IATF 16949 for direct OEM supply
· Structured problem-solving skills (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa) plus SPC and data analysis
· IATF 16949 Internal/Lead Auditor certification
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
· Experience with QMS software (Intelex, CARA, or equivalent
