MDA Space seeks an experienced FPGA Designer who will report to a Senior/Lead Designer. This role requires converting requirements into design descriptions, writing VHDL code, and collaborating with various teams in space exploration. Your contributions will enhance capabilities in command & control and digital signal processing while supporting functional verification processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Convert requirements into design documentation for FPGAs
• Define interfaces for robust module connectivity
• Write efficient VHDL code for FPGA modules




• Synthesize designs and handle placement & routing
• Assist in functional verification with the team
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years in FPGA or ASIC design
• Proficient in VHDL coding and design tools
• Knowledge of scripting languages and Unix/Linux workplace
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and French
