The job is hands-on: you design parts, machine or print them, assemble them, and go test them.

The work

- 3D design (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or equivalent) and rapid prototyping: machining, 3D printing, welding
- Selection and integration of mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic components
- Working directly with the electronics and software team
- Assembly, field testing, validation, documentation

What you need

- Solid mechanical foundation: design, strength of materials, assembly
- Hands-on prototyping experience: machining, welding, hydraulic/pneumatic assembly
- Initiative, autonomy, and curiosity across varied projects

Nice to have

- Basic robotics knowledge
- Experience with fast R&D; cycles
- Comfortable in a small team moving quickly
- $80,000 a year, full time, on-site in LaSalle.
