CHEK ABC is a Christian Home Education and On-Line school with students across BC. Our central office is located in beautiful Nelson.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a passionate Educational Assistant to provide individualized support to two (2) students in their home-based learning environments.

Rate per hour: $23 to $29

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

- Educational Assistant Certificate/Behaviour Intervention training is an asset but not required
- Experience supporting students who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) tools and strategies, as well as emotionalregulation supports, is an asset but not required.
- Experience using TouchChat is considered an asset.




- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a home-based learning workplace.
- Ability to reliably travel to and work at the student's home-based learning location.
