Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Business Analyst – Non-IT I to join our clientin support of an existingvacancy.Contract Period: 12 months with potential to extend or convertPay Rate: Starting from $30 per hourLocation: Waterloo, ONLocation Type: HybridBusiness Hours: Monday-Friday; 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:00 PMJob Responsibilities:- The creation and ongoing maintenance of all test plans for all MCI systems- All ongoing testing of processes and systems in the UAT and PROD environments- Attend all project meetings as required to advocate the needs of the MCI team- Prepare and send out all outage notices as applicable to Sales Managers, Account Managers & all active users impacted by the release- Work with the Project Manager to create and update all documentation and procedures for MCI to ensure procedures have been tested and signed off- Schedule training sessions with the MCI Operation team as needed so they are knowledgeable of any new or updated documentation and procedures- Triage all MCI Production Support escalations from the MCI Team and liaise with IT to resolve reported systems issues- Write up analysis of reported production problems for production support to troubleshoot system defects- Initiate, record and monitor all MCI Task Logs to ensure resolution of all escalated support issues (ie: open task logs or tickets)- Liaise with business partners to analyze problems of varying sizes, gather and document requirements- Coordinate requests from Account Manager to customize insurance applications with logos for our Broker partners.
Update Account Manager on the progress and date of release and perform AMS Regression testing when required- Effectively communicate with key stakeholders and project partners both verbally and in writing- Participate in the Co-ordination of implementation activities within a complex and integrated environment adhering to all necessary security and control practices- Further develop analytical capability and technical understanding on a regular and on-going basis- Complete post implementation quality reviews to ensure any fixes required are scheduled and completed with the project warranty period- Identify testing needed and co-ordinate with team to ensure testing is completed- Identify updates needed to the MCI system and process procedures and documentation- Work as a system resolution specialist, support specialist and business analyst- Provide leadership and training to junior Business Analyst(s) / Project Coordinator(s) on the MCI Team- Represent MCI as a senior team member in the continual development of the teams projects, enhancement plans and roadmapExperience & Qualification Requirement:- Post graduate degree- 1 +years Business Experience- 1 years Business analysis experience- Knowledge of system platforms and processes (DPS, DMS, AMS, BRMS)- Previous experience in a data processing role- Knowledgeable in the Mortgage Creditor Industry or ability to learn quickly- SME level Knowledge of all MCI Systems and processes including but not limited to AMS, BRMS, DPS, DMS, Safety Catch, Broker Onboarding, Lender Onboarding, MOS Onboarding- Well-developed knowledge of writing testing plans to requirements documents- Excellent understanding of system design, analysis, and productivity improvement methodologies- Proficiency with Excel and Word- Embrace the Values - Obsess About Customers, Do the Right Thing, Think Big, Get It Done Together, Own It and Share Your Humanity- Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting- Experience working in a team-oriented,
