As an Occupational Therapist I, you will deliver evidence-informed services that enhance functional abilities in children by engaging families and communities in a supportive workplace.
Your role encompasses direct service provision, consultation, education, and advocacy. Work collaboratively with a dedicated healthcare team to set and evaluate rehabilitation goals, while actively involving families in care processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services for pediatric clients
- Collaborate with families and clients on care and rehabilitation goals
- Conduct assessment, diagnosis, and case management
- Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants and Aides
- Participate in interprofessional teams for quality improvement Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT)
- Available for hybrid work in Alberta
- Experience with pediatric care preferred
