CIMA+ is seeking an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer to enhance its Earth and Setting team. This role involves engaging in multi-disciplinary projects, applying technical skills in geotechnical investigations, analysis, and project management. You'll have the opportunity to lead investigations and mentor junior staff while focusing on Alberta-based infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead geotechnical studies from planning to reporting • Analyze geological data for construction risks • Prepare technical reports and recommendations • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during projects • Mentor junior engineers and technical staff
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering • 5+ years of consulting experience in geotechnical engineering • P.Eng. designation in Alberta or eligibility • Strong understanding of soil mechanics and foundation design • Proficient with geotechnical software and CAD systems
