Wanted Operations Assistant / Snowmobile Guide for Full time seasonal position at Grizzly Lodge

Grizzly Lodge is North America’s only ride in ride out Snowmobile Lodge. The successful applicant will be a professional, courteous individual who is ready to work with our team to provide high quality accommodation and care to our guests over our winter season.

Position Available: Operations Assistant / Snowmobile Guide

Terms of Employment: Full Time, Seasonal Employment

Salary: Day wage plus gratuities ($100 - $120/Day Tips, Does not Include Guide Tips)

Anticipated Start Date: Dec. 7th 2026

Shift: Two weeks on, One week off

Location: Scotch Creek, British Columbia

Work Setting: Remote, Backcountry Lodge, Room and Board provided

Transportation/Travel Information: 4 wheel drive vehicle is Required and experience operating a snowmobile is required. Applicant must have valid Class 5 driver’s license and Class 4 license is an asset.

Operation Duties Will Include:

- Snow removal and Trail grooming
- Hot tub care and maintenance
- Garbage / Recycling
- Airport Shuttles
- Grocery Runs
- Care and maintenance of rental snowmobile fleet




- Snow cat maintenance
- Generator maintenance
- Assisting with Housekeeping/Bartending

Snowmobile Guiding: Successful applicant must be an experienced backcountry rider with an 80 Hr Wilderness First Responder Cert., and AST 2. Can apply without these certifications, providing the intention is to be certified before start date.

CMBGA certification is an Asset.

Applicants must have good people skills, and ability to work well with others in a close team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $186.50-$270.00 per day

Experience

- Snowmobile: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
- AST 2 (required)
- 80 Hr Wilderness First Responder (required)
- CMBGA Certification (preferred)
