Now, if you were to come on board as an Operations Manager, we’d ask you to do the following:
- Conduct operational audits of food service programs and recommend improvements aimed at increasing productivity and financial performance.
- Ensure that units comply with company standards and regulations, particularly with respect to meal preparation, food safety, and recordkeeping.
- Ensure adherence to the company’s retail and procurement programs.
- Observe day-to-day operations during unit visits, including evaluating food quality (taste, temperature, presentation, and portion sizes), analyzing operational complaints, and implementing effective solutions.
- Develop accurate regional or district forecasts, oversee unit-level forecasting, and ensure financial results meet client and company expectations.
- Ensure fair and consistent application of human resources policies, procedures, and guidelines to foster a positive workplace culture and support the organization’s employer-of-choice vision.
- Conduct audits of performance evaluations and employee files, and follow up on diversity and inclusion action plans.
- Recruit managers, identify training needs, and coach management teams to support recruitment, talent development, and succession planning.
- Provide coaching and support to food service managers, particularly in restaurant and catering sales, to maximize customer and consumer satisfaction.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality kitchen services across all assigned units.

Here’s how we’ll know you will be successful:
- Postsecondary education and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in food service management, ideally in commercial food service.
- Strong financial management skills, including labor cost control.
- Proven leadership abilities, with strengths in motivation, training, and team development.
- High attention to detail and strong collaboration skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
