Your role as a Child Youth Worker entails providing direct support to youth while promoting their self-determination. Collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team, you will document and execute Personal Service Plans, ensuring youths’ needs and rights are met effectively. Your efforts will significantly contribute to nurturing positive community relations. Key Responsibilities:
- Advocate for the rights of supported children
- Document daily activities and health information
- Assist with daily living tasks and medication management
- Engage with children to foster independence
- Maintain a clean and supportive living setting Requirements:
- Completion of Grade 12 education
- Diploma in Child and Youth Care or equivalent
- 2+ years in community services for youth
- Experience in Trauma-Informed Practice or similar
