We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team for one of our

Exeter locations- Friday evenings starting at 5pm. This shift is usually 3 to 4 hours.

Depending on availability, more hours can be discussed after training.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various commercial & Industrial spaces. This role is essential in providing a safe, hygienic, and welcoming workplace for clients, staff, and visitors. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The position offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting with a focus on quality and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping, vacuuming and trash removal to ensure cleanliness of assigned areas.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, offices, kitchens, and common areas following established health standards.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any maintenance needs or shortages.
- Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment during cleaning activities.




- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes to meet operational standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent cleanliness across all designated spaces.

Qualifications

- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures is an asset but not required- as training is provided
- Reliable transportation/ own vehicle
- Clean background check
- Ability to gather supplies from office as needed and/or bring back supplies as needed to Hensall Office (time in car with supplies is paid)

Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $22.00 per hour
