Responsibilities

- Thoroughly wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all tools are sanitized and organized.
- Assist with food handling procedures to support kitchen operations and food safety standards.
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed, such as organizing supplies or assisting with prep work.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with sanitation regulations.
- Manage waste disposal efficiently,

- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service times.

Skills

- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation practices within a food service environment.
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Basic kitchen experience including familiarity with food handling and safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
