We are a small, growing meal-prep and catering business operating from a professional commercial kitchen in Milton, Ontario.
We are looking for a reliable, clean and organized Kitchen Assistant to help with our food preparation and packing operations.
You don’t need to be a professional cook — training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Basic vegetable and ingredient preparation
- Portioning and assembling meals
- Packing and labeling prepared meals
- Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
- Cleaning and sanitizing work areas
- Organizing ingredients and supplies
- Following food-safety and hygiene procedures
- Assisting with general kitchen tasks as needed
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Clean, organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a professional kitchen
- Able to follow instructions carefully
- Comfortable with repetitive food preparation and packing
- Previous kitchen, catering, food-service or meal-prep experience is an asset
- Food Handler Certificate is an asset
Schedule
4 days per week × 2 hours per day
Approximately 8 hours per week.
Exact days and times will be discussed based on availability.
Additional hours may become available as the business grows.
Pay
