Role OverviewInter Toronto is seeking an energetic, results-driven Partnerships Manager to drive corporate revenue growth and oversee full-lifecycle partnership management.
In this role, you will be responsible for the full sales cycle: from prospecting high-value brands and pitching bespoke commercial packages to closing deals and executing dynamic activation plans. Additionally, you will play a hands-on role on matchdays, serving as a primary point of contact for corporate partners and ensuring flawless delivery of all contractually agreed assets.

• Sales
- Pipeline Generation: Actively prospect, cold outreach, and build a robust, qualified sales pipeline of local, national, and international brand partners.
- Pitch & • Proposal Development:
Design custom, compelling sponsorship proposals that align brand goals with Inter Toronto’s audience and asset inventory (e.g., jersey placement, stadium signage, digital/content, community programs).
- Closing Deals: Lead negotiations to secure mutually beneficial, multi-year partnership contracts that meet or exceed personal and team revenue targets.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of sports marketing, sponsorship, and commercial trends to identify new revenue streams and brand integration opportunities.

- Contract Fulfillment: Ensure 100% execution and fulfillment of all contracted assets, deliverables, and rights for assigned corporate partners.
- Relationship Management: Serve as the primary, day-to-day trusted contact for partners, maintaining high levels of satisfaction and driving long-term retention.
- ROI Reporting:
Coordinate post-campaign and end-of-season reporting, providing partners with metrics, recap decks, and proof-of-performance data.
3. Matchday & • Event Operations
- Game Day Execution: Be on-site for all home matches at York Lions Stadium to oversee partner activations, signage branding, and corporate hospitality zones.
- Partner Hosting: Host corporate guests, executives, and brand stakeholders on matchdays to deliver a premium matchday experience.
- Operational Problem Solving: Troubleshoot matchday issues quickly and collaborate with stadium operations and marketing teams to ensure smooth partner delivery.
Qualifications & • Skills
- Experience:+2 years of experience in B2B sales, corporate partnerships, or sponsorship sales (sports, entertainment, or agency background preferred).
- Track Record: Proven history of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets and managing a full sales pipeline from cold lead to contract execution.
- Presentation & • Pitch Skills:
Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with proficiency in building visual pitch decks (Keynote, PowerPoint, or Canva).
- Negotiation & • Closing:
Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating deal structures, rights fees, and contract terms.
- Flexibility & • Stamina:
Ability to work non-standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays required for home matches and club events.
- Passion for Sports: Deep understanding of the sports sponsorship ecosystem and genuine passion for soccer culture.
Compensation & • Benefits
- Base Salary: $50,000 CAD per annum
- Incentive Plan: Uncapped sales commission structure on current partnership revenue and deal renewals
