Company Description The Zen S.P.O.T. (Speech, Physio, Occupational Therapy) provides specialized Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Speech Therapy services for children and adults with developmental disabilities. The team focuses on helping each child build practical skills that support independence, confidence, and success in everyday activities. Therapy is designed to be functional and meaningful, supporting participation at home, in school, and in the community.

Role Description This part-time, Pediatric Occupational Therapist role is based at our service locations in Milton, Mississauga and Etobicoke. The therapist will assess children’s functional abilities, including fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care tasks, and participation in play and school activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, providing one-on-one therapy sessions, and documenting progress in clear, timely clinical notes.

The role also involves collaborating with families, caregivers, and other clinicians to set goals,



provide education and home programs, and support carryover of strategies in everyday environments. The therapist will contribute to a supportive clinic atmosphere, maintain qualified standards, and participate in team meetings and case discussions as needed.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in Pediatric Occupational Therapy, including Early Intervention and Working With Children.
- Strong skills in Sensory Integration and functional, play-based intervention for children with developmental disabilities.
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
- Experience in clinic or community pediatric settings; familiarity with autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental conditions is an asset.
- Capacity to maintain accurate documentation, manage a part time caseload, and uphold ethical and professional standards.
