Should it not be filled in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, external candidates will be considered.Job SummaryUnder the supervision of the Recreation Facility Supervisor, this position performs duties related to the collection and security of all admission and course fees in compliance with City cash control procedures at indoor rinks.Duties & ResponsibilitiesCollects admissions and sells pass cards. Maintains accurate account of sale transactions.Records all transactions using a pre-programmed cash register.Prepares a daily float and cash report; makes bank deposits.Receives and processes participant registrations.Receives and screens telephone and in-person enquiries and provides program information to customers.Assists with the planning and implementation of facility promotional events.Performs other related duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation, Training and Experience RequirementsGrade 10 education.Six months' related cashier and customer service experience.Knowledge, Abilities and SkillsKnowledge of handling cash,



and balancing and completing cash reports.Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with the public.Ability to make arithmetic calculations rapidly and accurately.Skill in the use of an electronic cash register and adding machine.Requires Security CheckAcceptable current Criminal Record Check (CRC) upon offer of employment.Weekly Hours: Up to 12 hours per week.Salary Range:$20.13to$22.20CADper hour(2026rates)Diversity, Equity and InclusionThe City of Saskatoon offers an inclusive workplace that embraces diverse backgrounds.
