In this role, you will report to the Director of Quality and Professional Practice, leading a physiotherapy team and overseeing treatment plans.
Your responsibilities include collaborating with healthcare professionals, educating staff and family members, and participating actively in improving patient safety through committee leadership. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage physiotherapy assessments and treatment plans for residents
- Supervise and support physiotherapy assistants effectively
- Educate about falls prevention and safe handling
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Participate in safety committee activities to improve care Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy
- Registered Physiotherapist in Nova Scotia
- Experience in geriatrics or long-term care settings
- Strong planning and organizational skills
