About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice-President, IT Operations to play a pivotal role in the organization's technology landscape. This executive leadership position is focused on ensuring the security, reliability, and scalability of technology services that align with the company's mission and strategic priorities. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing infrastructure and cloud operations, enterprise application support, service management, and vendor partnerships. A key aspect of the role is to lead the continuous improvement of these functions, manage strategic vendor relationships, and drive business continuity planning. The Vice-President will also be instrumental in shaping and executing the IT operations strategy,



collaborating with leaders across various technology and business teams to foster operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

To excel in this role, candidates must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in information technology, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in managing enterprise cloud and on-premises technology environments, leading application support, DevOps, and release management, and implementing IT service management best practices. Solid experience in vendor management, contract negotiations, and budget oversight is essential. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative leadership style, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences. Certifications in ITIL and project management, as well as cloud certifications, are also necessary. The role demands a strategic thinker with strong decision-making, problem-solving, and risk management capabilities, who can build and lead high-performing technical teams within complex environments.
