Postdoctoral Fellow Position : Development and Applications of Next-generation Spectroscopic Microscopies The Ogilvie Research Group at the University of Ottawa invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow to join an interdisciplinary, internationally collaborative project funded by the Human Frontier Science Program (HFSP). The successful candidate will work at the interface of optical instrumentation, spectroscopy, and cell biology, playing a central role in the design, construction, and application of next-generation spectroscopic imaging methods. The position is initially offered for one year and is renewable annually for up to three years.

The candidate should be a recent or upcoming Ph.D. in physics, chemistry, optical engineering, biophysics, or a related field. Experience with optical microscopy, interferometric or scattering-based imaging, ultrafast/nonlinear spectroscopy, or Fourier transform spectroscopic methods is highly desirable. Interest in interdisciplinary work bridging physical chemistry, optics, and cell biology; prior biological/biophysical experience is a plus but not required.
