Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing and industrial services, is seeking a Material Handler - Tire Loader to join their team. As a Material Handler - Tire Loader, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting tire manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Material Handler - Tire Loader
Location: Recent Glasgow, NS
Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts from 07:00 to 19:00 and from 19:00 to 07:00, with occasional overtime
What's the Job?
- Remove empty product bobbins from tire building machines
- Read and confirm product tickets to ensure correct product being loaded
- Re-load with product bobbins delivered from Prep
- Collect and return supplies used for loading products
- Refill cans of dissolution, thread, cut, and join product as needed
What's Needed?
- No prior experience required
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting, pushing, and pulling of up to 20kg
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to work in a controlled environment with safety protocols
- Ability to work rotating shifts and occasional overtime
