Step into the role of Primary Care Nurse in HIV services at Nine Circles. Deliver comprehensive healthcare and education to those at risk in a full-time nursing capacity. Under the leadership of the Director of Primary Care, this full-time role comprises 77.50 hours over a two-week period, focusing on specialized nursing for HIV patients and at-risk populations.
You will be instrumental in providing assessment, chronic disease education, and urgent care, while ensuring ongoing case management across diverse communities. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and conduct sexual health examinations for patients
- Facilitate health promotion initiatives and chronic disease education
- Provide urgent triage services as required
- Engage in ongoing case management for the HIV-infected
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes Requirements:
- Completion of Baccalaureate in Nursing or pertinent clinical experience
- Must be registered with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
- Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, active
- Preferred: RN Authorized Prescriber in reproductive and sexual health
