Requirements
- Bachelor’s degreein business, logistics, or a related field may berequired
- Proven workexperience as a Purchasing Officer, PurchasingAgent or similarrole
- Applicable knowledgeof negotiating prices and terms and conditions
- Proficiency in the relevant management software programs
- Good knowledge ofvendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
- Hands-on experiencewith purchasing software (e.g. "SpendMap")
- Superb written andverbal communication and negotiationskill
- Solid analyticalskills, with the ability to create financial reports andconduct cost analyses
- Greatorganizational and planningskills
- The ability toidentify market trends and make decisions in a high-stressenvironment
- The ability tofollow client specifications
